Anything Goes - Challenge #318-#319

Welcome back for our second challenge of the new year.  Hopefully by now you've settled in to the new year and any changes that might have occurred.  We're SO grateful that you take the time to stop by and share your art with us here, and we always LOVE seeing your amazing cards and projects linked up here.  We have two AWESOME new sponsors for this challenge, and these prizes will surely make you want to play along for the chance to win.  And....we really enjoy visiting your blogs and seeing your amazing art!  Oh, don't forget....I'm still looking for a few Guest Designers for 2018.

Our word art uses the scripture Psalm 63:3 "Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee".  The psalmist was simply saying that having the favor of God in his life made it worth living.  When a person lives without the love of God during their lifetime, they aren't really "living" and enjoying life because their eternal hope is lost.  What is there to live for and look forward to?  Having the joy that the promises of knowing and loving God brings, and knowing and being loved BY God is truly better than life (a life without).  When we know God personally, our whole life becomes worth living because our eternal hope is in Him...not on this earth.  We claim God's promises by not complaining about life's trials, but by trusting that He will always take care of us.  We "praise Him" because of His love for us (what He did for us), and we live for Him because of what He has promised us.  A life lived in the lovingkindness of Jesus Christ really is better than life, and I know that I will praise Him as long as I have breath.   If you don't yet know of His lovingkindness personally, let today be the day you call on Jesus Christ to give you the gift that truly is "better than life".

As always, you are welcome to save the free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are never required to use it in order to play along in our challenges.   We welcome you share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards).  You may link up to five (5) projects each week. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning.  It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules".  Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to our guidelines.  Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone.  We're simply attempting to honor God and follow His rules.  Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!
